  1. Introduction of the term project: the story of your term project

Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University or MUC Buddhist University is the first Buddhist University in Thailand , established in C.E 1887 by His Majesty the King Chulalongkorn or King Rama V , for Buddhist Monks to study Buddhism. As time went by, this university have provided many majors subjects for lay people and monks to study  and has been increasing its campuses in may province and other countries in the world. The more students come to this University to study and the more campuses have been increasing means the more competitions with other Universities  will exist. But, this University is still poor in this service. Students do not satisfy with customer service. It may loss the number of students to other universities. In order to solve problems and to prevent disadvantages from levels of competition, you would introduce Customer Relationship Management System to manage relationship with customers or students and to meet students’ satisfaction, so that University will gain competitive advantage over other Universities.

  1. Your role/function in the term project group: what ‘s your role. What do you do?.

My role in this term project is finding out document, analyze information. , doing power point presentation, writing CD and arranging a meeting. I have done what my role was and I have tried my best for it.

  1. Problems, conflict of  the project group: describe your problems, group’s problems

Problems, conflict of the project group are that for myself, it is quite hard to find information and to know what exact technology can solve the problems in our term project. For our group’s Problems, conflict are that we live in different areas, it is very hard to come from a meeting, and when many people join in one group, we often have conflict ideas about how to find the problems in the term project and what technologies we would use to solve the problems.

  1. Your opinion about the term project: any complaint about the term project (too difficult, too easy, not interesting, good or bad practice, beneficial, uselessness, etc.)

This project  is very useful because it can help MCU Buddhist University to manage the interaction with customers as students, people who contact, etc. It is not only to solve the problem of customer relationship of University itself, but also help to promote Buddhist University and propagate Buddhism to the world wide.

  1. What have you or your group made any mistakes? What are they? Describe them.

The mistakes of our group have made were that we chose Nida University, which we had no idea about it and have never study at it, to be our term project’s topic. It took us for long time to find the information concerned. Moreover, we tried to assume the problem of this University, but everything was not easy as we thought. After spent many weeks on this topic, we decided to change the topic and started from Zero again.

  1. What have you learn from those mistakes? Clearly describe what you have learned

What I have learnt from those mistakes are that I shouldn’t assume the problems may or may not exist.  Whenever I want to solve problems in an organization, I must know what exactly problems are, and then I can think how to solve the problems. If I just assume problems but have never known what exactly are, I will never solve the problems adequately.

  1. How would you prevent, avoid  these problems or improve to make them better?

I can avoid these problems by” think before act”.  Because I was not thinking about the real situation of those problems and I just assumed them without considerations. So, the way to improve or to prevent is that I have to more aware of real situation than just imagining the problems by myself.

  1. Would you take those lesson learned to benefit you in your job, your study, and your personal life and in the future? How?

Yes, I would take those lesson learned to benefit me in my job study and personal life, and in the future that I must be more thoughtful before I do something. Sometime, there is no second chance for me to correct it. Whenever I do something I will think twice before doing it.

  1. Describe the benefit VS bad experiences of this term project.

The benefit experience of this term project is that I have learned how to work with a team and how to share our knowledge when working with many people. On other hand, the bad experience is that it always comes out with conflict when working as a group.

  1. Your thought about the instructor and term project: Does or what instructor help you and your group – something useful, useless, courage/discourage?, etc.)

Instructor has help our team a lot. Because at the beginning of doing this term project, we didn’t know how to do the term project and we chose to find out the problems of Nida University which we had no idea about it and never studied or worked there.  After that we went to ask instructor to comment our topic and solution, and the instructor helped us to find out the problems and the difficulties of doing a term project of a organization we weren’t familiar. Finally, we decided to change to topic to this
THE INCREASING CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP SYSTEM” of MCU Buddhist University and we went to ask instructor to advise many times, and we then came out with the term project like it.
