Self-Evaluation of Class Participation
I want to ask questions, but I don’t know how to start. Many times I am confused with the main point which instructor tries to point out, but I don’t know what key point to ask about. Sometimes, I just keep quiet when instructor ask “Do you see what I mean?” As matter of fact, I am still getting confused with what the main point that instructor wants students to see, but I don’t know how to start with questions.
For these reasons, in order to improve it, I should read more, try to analyze and understand everything concerned, make questions in mind with what I am getting confused, not only MIS but every subjects or situation faced in daily life, and encourage myself to ask what I don’t understand. Moreover, I should encourage myself to show my opinion in the classes.

Summary and Wrap-Up
We’ve covered a lot of ground these 15 weeks! Think back over the various topics we’ve covered and concepts you’ve learned.

The three most important concepts to management information system are technology, management, and business processes.
Technology: technology is changed all the time from one generation to other generations. In the present real world technology pays very important role in human life, especially in business world such as Cloud computing platform emerges as major business area of innovation, More powerful, energy efficient computer processing and storage device, Growth in software as a service etc. In the technology area there are three interrelated changes : the emerging mobile digital platform, the growth of online software as service, and the growth in could computing where more and more business software runs over the Internet. People seem to use technology to perform their business or any other tasks every minute, every hour, and every day.
Management: A decision-making instrument used by top management, comprises of a set of controls. These controls cover the basic spheres of the business: its people, technologies, policies and procedures. Since growth of technology according to impact of globalization, management uses the technology to perform business in the high level of use such as managers adopt online collaboration and social networking software to improve coordination, collaboration, and knowledge sharing; managers adopt millions of mobile tools such as smartphones and mobile Internet devices to accelerate decision making and improve performance.
Business Processes: Doing business nowadays seems to rely on technology, people use technology to achieve their business goal such as Google Apps, Google Sites, Microsoft’s Office Sharepoint and IBM’s Lotus Conections are used by over 100 million business decision makers worldwide to support blogs, project management, online meetings, personal profiles, social bookmarks, and online communities.
2. Of our topics and concepts, which did you find most useful and why?
The concept of technology is the most useful in the present world. Because as in globalization’s age, we cannot imagine living in this real world without technology. We seem to rely to technology to do all most everything in order to make our life comfortable. And we also can use technology to help us to analyze situations for having better decision making, for instance, Decision support system: start from Input – process - output, then feedback to us for having decision making, not only in business but we can apply to use in every situation in our life. Another example is Customer relationship management. In the business world, it helps us to provide better customer service, to make call centers more efficient, to cross sell products more effectively, to help sales staff close deals faster, to simplify marketing and sales processes, and to discover new customers.
3. Create a one-page schematic or some other creative device to organize the topics/concepts we covered this semester, to better identify their inter-relationships and effects on each other.
